Larry is a retired orthodontist and has been playing Folk and Bluegrass music on local Public Radio stations for the last twenty-three years. He became aware of folk music during the folk boom of the late fifties and sixties. Through his fondness for the Kingston Trio and the banjo work of the late Dave Guard he has become a banjo nut. This led him to bluegrass music that he plays now on Down Home. He is married to his wife of forty-three years and has two children, and one granddaughter.
