Jessica Baldanzi

Jessica

Jessica has been DJing since 1990, when she first joined the staff of her college station, WNUR-FM in Evanston, Illinois. Before she joined the Globe in January of 2007, she DJd at WFHB in Bloomington, IN, one of the few remaining community radio stations in the nation. Jessica's shows over the years have run the gamut from experimental to local to world to overnight freeform. "Could Lead to Dancing" focuses mostly on indie rock, but one of Jessica's favorite radio hobbies is making unlikely segues between songs sound good, so keep an ear out for Johnny Cash next to Sleater-Kinney and the Soweto Gospel Choir next to the White Stripes. Jessica teaches in Goshen's English department and is learning bass guitar in her spare time.
